anyone else notice how similar the "app store" is to installer.app?
maybe it's just me, but the whole, download apps from anywhere/"it even shows you when there's an update"/"download wirelessly and use it right away" thing sounded eerily similar to installer.

I think Apple took alot of ideas from 3rd party apps from the "free" iPhone. Installer being one of them, but remember NavisonGPS and how the new "built-in GPS' is pretty similar. I mean the list goes on, but this is someone that I believe is true.

maybe, in a perfect world, all the same apps (or similar), and dare i say it, a warranty?

Apple lets the community play with the phone for a while...and then steals the ideas
like they did with installer.....its a pretty dirty trick but at the end they've got the upper hand

I think I was the only person reading WWDC Liveblogs to realise that Band (MooCow Music) is already free :/ Why wait a few weeks and then buy it from appstore?
