i was surprised when they didnt say anything about mms today and that along with the fake gps and poor camera sealed the deal for me. im skipping this iphone, maybe next year.

no mms included in the firmware
3rd party app store?
someone will surely make one that works better than swirly ever did for me.

So far it isn't in the latest release but there is still a month for them to surprise us.
Current iPhone data plan does not handle the inbound mms messages.
MMS may appear in the app store provided by a third party, but it will have to solve the problem at AT&T so the iPhone plan contemplates the service.
If you have a regular AT&T Media Net or Smartphone plan, you can get Swirly MMS to work in both directions.

If At&T is blocking MMS wouldnt it still be blocked if someone created the app for the appstore?

just talked with one of my buddies who works for att and he said that there are a few people from at&t working on the mms type application so i dunno how they intend to overcome the whole data blocking the mms stuff... guess we'll have to wait and see...

it took me so long to get sirlyMMS working on my iphone, im on rogers and non of the mms services where working, so i played around with some of the settings and where it says "UserAgent" i changed it to Motorola_V360 instead of iPhone, and its been working perfect now. before i was only able to receive and not send now i can do both
