Questions...Sending iPhone To Apple Tomorrow
Well my iPhone continuously crashes and goes to the Repair Needed iPhone cannot make/receive calls error and I have restored the phone numerous times for it to only work a few hours then throw that message again. Apple support says they will send me a new iPhone but the thing is I was running a legit AT&T locked phone but had it jailbroken using Ziphone, will they be able to track this even though after I restored again I didn't jailbreak it? Is there anything I should do so no trails are left that the phone has been modified for when Apple runs their "tests" on it? Any help would be greatly appreciated or if you guys have another solution for me to resolve my crashing issue that would be great too. Thanks

The only way that they could "track" that you JBed it is if they went in to your phone wich they wont do. As long as its resotored just say "its broken, can ya fix it?" Most of the time they wont and they will give ya a new iPhone. =)

or you can use idemocracy and use the refurbish option to restore it to factory settings, then there will be no doubt that it is locked. that is what i did when i had to send mine to apple and they sent me a new one no questions asked. try that and you should be good.
Verizon iPhone 4 jailbroken

thanks guys I appreciate it. I let the phone sit for awhile here and was bored and decided to throw my sim back in without restoring and viola its activated and working great again so now I'm afraid I'll send it in to apple and they'll find nothing wrong with it. What would cause it to work a few hours then go to the repair error message? Corrupted baseband is my guess but I'm not sure the best way to correct that on 1.1.4 OTB if that's what's causing it. Any ideas guys cuz I really dont want to go without my iPhone for a week if I dont have too. Thanks again

Hey guys so I used iDemocracy to use the refurbish option for my phone and after doing that and restoring in iTunes as it says when I open iDemocracy after restore it still says my phone is jailbroken did I do something wrong? I want to make sure theres no problems when I send it in to Apple. Thanks again
