Totally Bricked iPhone!!!! Error (1604) or (1) no matter what i do

i had that happen a few days ago. after i reinstalled itunes, it worked like a charm from DFU mode.

I had the same problem...

For hours i could not restore my phone, BUT, after installing quickpwn22, it recognized my iphone 3GS 3.1.2 and brought it back to life.

I suggest that route it worked for me
