How do u fix NOT ENOUGH SPACE TO INSTALL PROGRAMS?

Can anyone please help me to fix this problem? i want to install more programs on my iphone but it is telling me that i dont have enough space to install anything, and i have more the 3 gigs left so i have ample room.

PLEASE HELP!!! IS THERE A PROGRAM? A WINSCP FIX?

Im dying for someone to help me because i dont even have that much stuff on my phone. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

Moving Applications to Media Partition - ModMyI - Wiki
That guide will allow you to move your applications folder to your media partition using a symlink (symbolic link/ soft link). Don't use any other tool on installer thinking it will make your life easier, every time I try and use a tool on install (such as bosstool) I wave hello to the SWOD! Follow the instructions carefully.

FYI your iPhone only has 300MB of space for the firmware and apps in the OS partition. Its the private (user) partition that has 3 gigs free. This is why people copy ringtones/fonts/apps to the other partition :-)

i dont want to restore my whole phone jsut bc it is telling me i dont have enough room, i just want a solution so that i can store more programs onto it.............

Is there any other solutions that some ppl can share wit a poor ol canadian EHHH!!!!

I'm out of space too. I just downloaded BossTool v2.0 and it shows taht my Apps are already moved! I've never run this tool before. What do I do now. It shows that I only have 23M of 500M free!
