Can Anyone Tell Me About This? SMS is involved

Well I have looked in the other forums and didnt see anything on this so i was wondering if there is anyway to change the background color on you SMS app, iam not talking about the SMS bubbles or the keyboard iam talking about the white background that the Bubbles sit in. Can anyone help me out cause i am wanting to make mine black, since i have my bubbles changed already it wouldn't make the letters unreadable.
