launch ROMs directly from springboard

sorry if this is in another thread, i searched but didnt find much
so sorry if someone already asked this
but i was wondering if there is a way to launch ROMs with having to open the emulator first, but rather to have an icon for it sitting on your home screen already
it would be easier than opening the emulator each time, and the games you play the most could be ready to go, right from springboard
is there a way to do this?
