what mean ituneshelper

i just want upgrade from V.1.1.2 to V.1.1.4 with iliberty cause someone say that when i upgrade use iliberty than i don't need TURBOSIM anymore.
but i dont understand cause the write:
Make sure iTunesHelper and any other services or daemons releated to iTunes are not running.
what mean that?

Check your Task Manager and see if there is anything called iTunesHelper running. End that task if there is.

If you use the newest version of iLiberty it kills iTunes and iTuneshelper automatically when launched. You can get the newest version at theiphoneproject and go to the downloads section.
