I have an iphone, jailbroken, unlocked etc. I am on ATT network so the unlock is pretty pointless. My gf wants an iphone and wants to run it on Alltel network. I know how to unlock a phone, but how do I go about getting alltel on it? does she just put her sim card in the iphone and thats it? Is anyone else on alltel network?

The Alltel is CDMA, so the iphone will not work. Phones with CDMA do not use sims.

Alltel is CDMA mate, you can't use iPhone on CDMA cuz there's no SIM cards on CDMA. I guess TMobile and AT&T are the only major GSM carriers in US.
