Importing photo albums (not from camera roll) iPhone to PC

I can't seem to get the photos (other than the ones from camera roll) onto my PC. I'm not very good at searches, but I have attempted to google around before coming here to ask.

When I connect the iPhone to my PC, it's recognized as a digital camera where I can view/copy photos -from camera roll only- to my PC. I'm curious as to if there's a way to get photos from my iPhone albums.

Suggestions are greatly appreciated, thank you.

all your photos taken on phone are in your camera roll. so wht r u trying to do.? just sync with itunes you can also sync all photos on ur computer with itunes and then to ur phone

Everytime I connect to my PC, the Microsoft scanner and camera transfer wizard pops up and I just D/L them that way. It may not be the correct way but it works. I can delete pics once I d/l them too. Im sure there are many different ways of doing it but this has been the easiest way for me.

Sorry I may have been unclear. The photos were originally downloaded onto the iPhone from another computer. If I sync I lose them. That's why they're not on camera roll.

Only camera roll photos are displayed using that method.

oooooo. So how did you get them onto your phone..? Did you drag and drop them like it was a hdd in the explorer window?.. in that case browse file system and see if you can find them and just pull them out. Im not sure where they go if you do it this way seeing i didnt even really know you could.. But if there on your phone im sure you will be able to find them

Ah. Well, the thing is... my other computer is where my iPhone originally belonged to. So I was able to put the photos onto my Iphone via iTunes no problem right? Well now, since.. my computer died, I can't get the files back. x__X;!

do a search for where pics save in filesystem and then go to that location and see if your old pics are there. after that i have no idea sorry i couldnt be any more help
