I have heard a rumor and dont know what it means...
Ok so i was talking to one of my freinds recently, who has a restored iphone after a jailbreak and he said that since my iphone was hacked, when new apple apps came out i would not be able to use them. I dont beileve this cuz when you restore everything goes back to factory, and if some would could please tell me what the truth is about this matter that would be sweet
also,i heard you can go to the apple store and get the update for 3g hardware. is this true or false?
thanks,

Ok, so when you jailbreak the iphone, what does it break? the baseband? or somthing else?
and my freind told me that i would not be able to get any new apple updates with new apps with 2.0 because of it. i think thats bull ****.
when you restore, does it renew everything in the iphone including the baseband?

Lol. Your friend knows NOTHING about the iPhones. When you jailbreak your iPhone it is NOT damaging your baseband or smthing else. And again,he knows nothing. You will just install 2.0FIRMWARE as soon as it get hacked and all will work.
When you restore,it updates your baseband and FW,nothing else.

ZiPhone is the worst piece of iPhone software ever. The creator didn't even code anything for it, just stole other peoples work and made a GUI.

See this thread for more info: Do Not Use ZiPhone.
Restore and you should be safe from ZiPhone's evils. Use iLiberty or WinPwn.

You are calling other peoples work crap, if all he did was code the UI then who coded the functions and made all the other software work in tandem.
Does your comment imply that GUI Developers are useless?
The GUI is where everything happens.
I'm not condoning zibri or knocking him either - I don't know the guy.
My point is ---> unless your a coder you really shouldn't knock GUI development.
Any programmer will tell you its one of the most important parts of the application.Last edited by bklynjava; 05-31-2008 at 04:38 PM.

i just rejailbroek my iphone using iliberty.
everything works smoother.
ziphone has one better thing: the installer comes with base apps like bsd subsystem. in the iliberty you must instale sepratly.

Ok? I'm pretty positive that if you ask any Dev if they enjoy people stealing their work, claiming ti as their own and just popping a simple GUI on it, they'll say No. That's hat I'm saying. I don't really care for the GUI of an app either, all I want is a working app.

ZiPhone's BSD Subsystem is poorly made. It can cause many issues later. Make sure you install Cydia.
