A victory. I actually threw in a friend's AT&T Sim before I went in. He's had the iPhone for a few months now and his warranty was still valid. When I say no questions asked, I mean NO QUESTIONS ASKED. They didn't even check it for water damage! Literally within 5 minutes I had a brand new (refurbished) phone. Problem now is I'm trying to restore and unlock, etc....but I'm getting iPhone could not be restored, Unknown Error 1604 on the Restore lol...I guess I'll figure this one out...SUCCESS!

Nice job, I suppose they're trying to shift the old ones before they release the new. Regarding the restore error, what you have to do is go into the settings and select Reset. Then you should be able to do a complete Restore.
