tap to unlock

i have searched and searched for an old thread on how to get a tap to unlock slider and cant find it? can somone find it or tell me how to make a tap to unlock slider?

do you mean all you have to do to unlock phone is tap it, instead of sliding. never heard of that seems kinda cool. but also seems like it would unlock in pocket. keep searching ull find it

I am using tap to unlock and tap to lock and like it much better. I am lazy you know, travelling 1.5 inches with my finger is just too much for me :-)
Unless you have your fingers in your pocket it will not by accident turn on.

the only issue is that i cant find the "slide to unlock" string?

You can use customize to edit the string, you have to delete the text.

You can download a crap load of them using Customize 2.0 Beta.

And you can just replace a png within Springboard.app if you don't have Customize.
