Tethering coming to 3G iPhone. In the mean time here is a FIX for your home WiFi.

Go to settings with WiFi set to On...Select your WiFI and tap on the Blue Arrow.

Under 'DHCP" you can change the DNS Servers.
Under "Static" you can edit all the information manually.

    Option 1

    Try OpenDNS

Set your DNS to: 208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220

    Option 2

    Under Static Tab:

    IP Address: 192.168.1.150
    Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
    Router: 192.168.1.1
    DNS: 192.168.1.1

So try this. It might be good to go to settings/General/Reset/Resetnetworksetting and do the reset.

    Chris

wrong, after googling and looking on youtube REPEATEDLY till i almost went insane i found out its possible

Gadgets and You: How to share internet connection on PC with iphone

you create a connection from pc to iphone through ad hoc option, but before you connect through wifi, you bridge your wifi connection with your normal internet (i.e i have no wifi on my main computer but my laptop does)

works fine, super fast and very valuable if you have no unlimited internet quota/data for your phone plan which most countries dont' except countries like U.S...over here, my prepaid they charge me $1.30 per 60kb

NOTE: my setup is, i have no wifi router/modem its a adsl2+ 4port modem router, i connect my desktop to it, and i also use one of the ports for my notebook.

i use the wifi option on my notebook to connect to iphone
