sync problem. random "other" shown when plugged in.

all of a sudden i plug my iphone in and it shows all my media, except for photos as "other" and my music's not on my phone anymore, and when i try and sync it, it just says there isn't enough room because of all the "other".

what do i do?
is there any way to locate all the "other" and delete it?
or find out what the "other" even is?

i have a pc by the way

Well for some reason iTunes "lost" the file path to your media folder and thinks it's all just random data. Unless you have been messing with your phone on SSH or with Terminal I have no idea how this could have happened. You may end up having to restore in iTunes and start over. If you do be SURE and set the phone up as NEW in itunes after you jailbreak.
