Home Key Stuck, iTunes doesn't see iPhone

So the problem is this.
Home key won't let me go backwards so once I'm in a screen I have to hold down On/Off to restart iPhone. Home key is dead, therefore anyway I know of entering restore mode so I can re-install 1.11 or even 1.14 is out of the question I still have installer loaded and wifi works, is there a way to make it go into recovery mode so iTunes will see it and i can re-install software.

i think ziphone has a feature to put it in dfu mode. if not, becuz im not sure if it is zipphone but do a search always do a search. u will prob have to replace phone if it is broken but plz do a restore with itunes so apple dosnt skrew you. and search first

I have been searching everywhere I can think, but the phone continues not to be seen by any of 3 macs ive tried using. Therefore Ziphone is out.
