[SOLUTION] iPhone Getting Stuck In Sleep Mode
Ok, so this problem has been happening to me for a while now. With the help of XianLi and LennyX from hackint0sh, I found out why it happens and how to prevent it. It happens with every phone I've tried emulating the problem with. It seems to be there in every phone.
Why does your phone get stuck in sleep mode?
It gets stuck when you put your phone into sleep mode as you are scrolling from your last page to your second last page, like this:
So pretty much, wait till your home page is on a set screen, THEN turn it off. Since its happening with about 5 iPhones that I have tried, it's most likely embedded in the firmware. So we have to wait for a fix from apple or somebody else.
I hope I helped!

To put it simply:
jeez, it's screwed me up to many times.
i could only fix it by plugging in a charger or by docking it, unlocking quickly, and opening an app like youtube.
EDIT: just tried this with my dads iPhone. same problem!
mine is ziphoned 1.1.4, his is stock 1.1.4
Thanks a ton for the info!

Can anyone explain a little more this? When you say "till your home page is on a set screen", what's "a set screen"? The phone on the picture has only two pages, why you say "from your last page to your second last page" and not first page, second page or first page and last page? Ufff.
(sorry for my siouxglish) ;-)
Well, doesn't matter now. The guy that I want to help with this has decided to restore and unlock with Ziphone and now he has the phone in a BSD Loop.
Tanks for your cooperation.
