alright so im picking up my iphone today. i just have a couple problems.

1. i want to be able to take videos (not a big deal just wondering if there is an app that allows me to do this)
2. i want to be able to send pictures and receive pictures

and a few questions.

1. what are the downfalls to jailbreaking my iphone? is there anything that goes wrong?
2. once i do jailbreak it can i download apps to fix my problems?
3. will there be an update to add in picture messaging and stuff anytime soon?
4. even though i cant send pics/vids can i still receive them?

1. Showtime and iPhone Video Recorder does this, but they are limited unless you pay, or have connections >.0

2. Right now, this is impossible using any app if you're using AT&T. However, you can send emails in the form of messages and attack pictures to them using a system of emails. Search for more info on this.

1. Jailbreaking is I can safely say, 99.9999% safe if you do it a proper way. And if anything goes wrong, it can easily be fixed using a restore.

2. First one, yes. Second one, no, atleast not yet

3. Not that anyone knows of

4. Pictures yes, you can go to viewmymessage.com and then use the username and password provided to you in a text message. Videos no.

and what happens to videos that get sent to me they just get lost in the mail. oh well.
i just wish they had multimedia messaging!


Oh! and when i put my sim card in a different phone will i receive the videos, pictures, etc that i didnt get on my iphone?
