any way to restore my sms function?

Hi i m a new user of iphone, very green indeed, any waysi can restore my sms function? i believe i accidently delete a file from the sms application, as i try to erase all my sms, as yesterday i receive a sms from the bank, it jam n freeze my sms, i cannot use my sms now, any one could help, thx

If the files arent in the downloads section, then just restore your phone. Or maybe theres a way to get the files out of the firmware package.

If you restore your iphone, the offending SMS will be deleted and SMS will work again. The problem is your favorite contacts will be lost and sorting preferences will also reset. I am searching for a way to delete the ofending SMS and leave the rest alone.

Just sync your phone with iTunes, then perform a restore, and sync everything back with iTunes post restore. It will keep all of your contact information, (even favorites, I'm not sure what ^ that guy is talking about, and even preferences).
