Strangeness after unlocking, 1.1.4

I unlocked the phone with iLiberty. All seemed fine. Had a few issues with the phone not rebooting and getting text scrolling non stop followed by a reboot and more scrolling text. Finally got it to stop and restored. All fine for two days. Now the phone allows me to open an app with springboard, but once into SMS, Phone, settings or anything, the screen stops reacting to touch.

I read that auto brightness may cause this. Great. If the phone won't react to the screen once into settings, how do I chnage this setting? If I go in with iBrikr, where do I find this setting?

I also have a tool called iPhone PC Suite. That seems to cause issues with my XP machine and shutdown.

Should I start uninstalling applicatoins from the iPhone one at a time?

Help.

As soon as I hit send, it started responding again. But for the future, any thoughts?
