Hey! Memory issues

Hey everyone,

First of all would like to say hi to everyone, and I am lookin forward to joinin your community here, and looking forward to learnin lots from you guys in the future.

Now to the issue at hand.

Settings > General > About > capacity

My Memory capacity is only listed as 300 mb... and available is 59. I checked on itunes and its the same thing... anyone know whats goin on? and how I can fix this?

It is a 8gb iphone, version 1.1.1

its unlocked with anysim I believe.

Can anyone helpe me out?

sorry to be one of the ones people hate but seriously if you use the search function or look at the wiki the question has been asked many times. most people dont bother with repeats around here but her your answer is in the SEARCH

Thanks for the help, Im following the steps, but where and how do i get vt100?

vt100 is on installer as Term-vt100 and its under the System cat.

The first one "cd /private/var/root" went through, but when i try to put in the second one "mv Media Media_sym" it says "mv: cannot stat 'media': Not such file or directory

just to make sure... once I enter a line i press return right?

Hmmm... it seemed to have fixed itself... weeird, but im not gonna complain.. Thanks for the help everyone!
