if you tethered it, you should be able to access any website or service that uses an internet connection, including yahoo messenger. if you want you can use yahoo messenger on your iphone using meebo.com

i want to use yahoo for other service on my laptop..but when i change the connection to proxy on yahoo...to sock..type the iphone ip address which is 10.3.3.2 and on port 1080..yahoo messenger wont log in...any ideas?
