Phonebook Issues- Can't edit, delete or add contacts
I have searched google and all over this forum and could not find an answer.
I have wiped and restored 10 times.
Used ziphone to unlocck, jailbreak
1.1.4
T-mobile
Entered all contacts initially over a month ago
Pulled those contacts off via openssh to my windows XP PC
This file (AddressBook.sqlitedb)
Put them back on the same way.
I can't add new contacts or edit, delete existing contacts.
Anyone ever experience this? It is very annoying.
No suggestions? Damn!Last edited by thatdogsucks; 04-29-2008 at 07:38 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Check ownership. Mine (on 2.2) is owned by mobile, group mobile.

^Yeah, SSH in and change "AddressBook.app" or whatever it's called's permissions to 0777 or 0755. That should fix it, I believe.

i'm using WinSCP for SSH on a 3gs, with 3.0.1 OS. I'm having this same problem that I can't delete or add a new contact after restoring my contacts.
Sounds like the way to resolve this is via changing the premissions but don't know how to do this. Can anyone walk me through?
