Help with donwloaded firmwares

hello, im new user of modmyi.com and im asking someone to help me with this:
My Jailbroken 1.1.4 iPhone collapsed and it wont go further from the apple logo when its turned on, so i decided to set it restore mode and download again the 1.1.4 firmware to install it into the iPhone through iTunes, but when i download the firmware safari automatically turns the ipws file into a normal folder :S how do i transform this folder into a .ipsw file again?

use firefox. or, zip the folder that safari has created and then rename the .zip file to .ipsw. i don't use safari, but that should work.

Zipping it again should do it but it is better to download the ipsw directly from iTunes.
