    Cool iPhone overseas ?
    Guys
If the iPhone is "locked" to AT&T, how is anybody supposed to take one on vacation to, say, Europe. I cannot believe that Apple or AT&T will expect anyone traveling to switch to another brand of phone for the journey.

Anyone know of anyone who has traveled with the iPhone ?

    Great site by the way

Because you can roam on other international networks with ATT. No need for another sim.

I understand and thanks for that but my question revolves around the so called modification of the GSM standard to use additional byte codes. How many roaming cells will cope with these changes outside the US.
