How do I restart my iphone without sleep button?
How can I restart my iphone without using the sleep/wake button? It's broken and since the phone isn't activated, Apple refuses to fix it.
Please help!

No, but really I'm not sure if there is a way. Someone else will probably be able to help
Alright I just read that you can reboot the iphone using term-vt100. If you do not have it download with installer. Its under the system category. I'm not sure if "reboot" is the exact command or what though. I'll try to figure it out for you.
Okay:
1: make sure you have term vt100
2: login name is: root
3: password is: alpine
4: type: "reboot" without the " then hit enter
5: hit home button and wait a secondLast edited by andypropaganda; 04-24-2008 at 08:45 AM.

Oh yes! My fault you need to go to installer then to tweaks(1.1.4) and see if there is something called "suid lib fix" even though I think there isn't one for 1.1.4, so I'm not sure. But I'll check up...
Alright, I heard the fix works so here is what to do.
Sorry about this.
Uninstall term vt100
Add "http://www.trejan.com/irepo" to your sources
Go to tweaks 1.1.3 in installer
Then download the "suid lib fix"
Then reinstall vt100
that should work otherwise you will need to ssh into your phone
