Itunes and Iphone syncing error

I recently moved my Itunes music library to an external hard drive connected to my Airport Extreme. Ever since I did I have been getting an error when I try to sync. Itunes basically says syncing contacts, calendars, bookmarks, mail accounts, generally in the middle of syncing the music, videos, podcasts, etc I get the message below. The sync stops until I click ok and then the sync finishes. Everything appears to sync ok. But the message is annoying. And I assume something is going wrong. Perhaps the notes and sms are getting backed up? Has anyone seen this or have any ideas?

Remove the playlist you have set up for your iPhone, and re-setup the playlist with the adjusted songs instead. That should do it.
