Default how do I delete downloaded stuff from "Mail"?

Hi guys, I am new to this forum.

I got a few question, I got some music's clip and photos sent from my friend's e-mail. I click on the attachment and it downloaded and worked fine.

But my question now is how do we delete them? Is it possible to extract it? The iPhone can't be detected as a storage device either...

    Please reply,

What is it that is not clear? Didn't any of you downloaded any attachments from your email on iPhone? Please ask if you want anything else.

Sorry for this long reply... Yes, they are documents and mp3s... So where do they go?

    Directories in the iPhone?
