    Default International Calling

Just wondering what my best option is for calling internationally using my iPhone? I live in the U.S. and my wife is going to Paris in a week and I was hoping to be able to talk without the huge international calling fees. We are both with AT&T and we both have iPhones. I saw the program Fring but not really sure what it does or how it works. Any suggestions on what works best would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!

get your wife an international plan for the time she will be in Europe.

you can then dial her normal cell number, and she can call yours.

I would not let my partner rely on Fring (it's great for the FIRST version) it requires her finding a FAST wifi network too!

a cheaper yet reasonable alternative is to unlock and use a cheap sim in france.

    Bon Voyage!

Thanks for the input. I will definitely check out AT&T's plans.
