what's the easiest way to view your iPhones files?
How can I easily view my iPhone's files? All this ssh stuff sounds scary and confusing. Thanks.

Download WinSCP
Username: root
Password: alpine OR dottie

I wish it were that simple! Installed program - looked elsewhere for the username to use, not sure if I've got the right port, or if SCP is right, used the username root and alpine, no luck, connection refused. Read somewhere else about BSd and ssh, so I haven't got installer, I've got Cydia, so I isntalled openssh. Is that the right thing to do?

yes, you need OpenSSH, then you can access your phone at its ip address.
the port should be 22

I get connection refused too.....you just have to keep trying at different times...
It pisses me off too....But you will eventually get in.....
If you just want to IMPORT files into the iPhone then download ibrickr.exe no password or username needed just connect your iPhone.

If you get connection refused, your router has probably given your phone a different ip. Something like 192.168.1.13 vs 192.168.1.14 or something similar. Makes sure the ip you are entering is still the one you are connecting with to the router on the iphone

I once prayed to God for an iPhone, but quickly found out He didn't work that way...so I stole an iPhone and prayed for His forgiveness.
