I recently tried to follow the "Dev Team Jailbreak 1.1.1 from 1.0.2" and all of a sudden, iTunes restored my iPhone to its original settings and ive lost pictures to music, ringtones to contacts, and email settings.
And to top it all, my iPhone only shows 300MB capacity when i tried to sync.
What the hell happened? i have no idea... i believe iTunes was in the middle of downloading the 1.1.1 firmware when it haywire!
I would appreciate your help!

no the update went perfectly if you jailbroke it. The jail is the way apple keeps media files (music, videos etc) from system files. when you jailbreak you gain write access to the system but lose access to media files. you after your finished installing whatever you were going to install, return it to jail and you will gain all your space back.

now my iphone is stuck at "please connect to iTunes" while iTunes itself was trying to restore my fone and "updating" with the 1.1.1 firmware.
previous firmware: 1.0.2
state: locked to AT&T
method: stickied "Dev Team Jailbreak 1.1.1 from 1.0.2 Windows"
it's official, my iPhone is updated to 1.1.1 firmware, forced by whatever happened
