unlocked automatically after downgrade from 1.1.1

Hi,

so couple weeks ago, I accidentally upgreaded my iPhone to 1.1.1 and I was very pissed off and went out and out and got another one from eBay, and ever since then I've using the new one, and I was going to sell the 1.1.1 on eBay...

today I finally wanted to downgrad to 1.0.2 and maybe takes steps to downgrad the baseband, so I stared it and everything went find, I'm on 1.0.2 from via windows

I used iNdependence 1.1.2a with my Mac to activate it.


now to the baseband downgrad... as I'm reading the guide, I decide to see if I left my Tmobile sim in there and I did... and I popped it out, now I was curious and I popped it back in, and all of a sudden I noticed it says Tmobile full bar... decided to call my voice mail, and it worked WTF???/

it this normal?

I can post pic if you want!!!

BTW: I upgraded from 1.0.1 to 1.1.1 then downgraded to 1.0.2
