Downgraded back to 1.1.3??
How did this happen? I had 1.1.4 and now when I connect to iTunes and check for upgrades, it tells me that the latest firmware 1.1.3 is installed on my phone.
I have iLiberty installed.
The phone even says I have 1.1.3.
What gives?
Anybody?Last edited by DJ420a; 04-15-2008 at 09:42 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Im positive it was at 1.1.4.
iTunes wont even show 1.1.4 on my PC, only 1.1.3.
It doesnt bother me now, Im just worried whats gonna happen when there are more upgrades in the future.

you probably installed the 1.1.4 compat. patch that tricks your phone into thinking it has 1.1.3 so you can run most apps from installer

ya it is the 1.1.4 compatibility patch from the installer, or you sv patched it to 1.1.3. either or it isnt downgraded, it is impossible for that to happen without you knowing. I have been tweaking with the system file version and i have managed to change it to 2.0.0 with the appstore and icon as installer and trick a few of my friends.
It is simple to do if you know what your doing.....

Same thing happened to me. It's definitely the compatibility patch. Once you remove that, it goes back to 1.1.4.

just open ur phone up in winscp or w\e , go to
\system\library\coreservices\systemversion.plist
open it up in notepad or w\e and change the version to 1.1.4
you can also do this to change it to 2.0.0 and such
