    Default dilemma
    Finally i have my iPhone.
The dilemma is I am still using Panther 10.3.9 although ifuntastic 3.55 will runs under panther , i can dload the firmware that apptapp requires, but get a bootsctrap error- apptap cannot proceed so neither can iFuntastic.
This means that jailbreak doesn't happen.

I have decided to wait until 10.5 Leopard is released before attempting the process.

The second dilemma is, should i immediately upgrade to 1.1.1 with iTunes and using either iNdependence or maybe iFuntastic should I jailbreak 1.02, then upgrade ?

Also the intention is also to use the iPhone internationally and I will not use the ATT sim.
At what point do I remove the ATT sim and invoke faux activation?
i have read many jailbreak routines and some advise to not remove, some advise it is requied.

    comments appreciated

There is a 1 touch jailbreak for OSX. It jailbreaks, installs apptapp, and ssh. Thats your best bet.
I've got two states of mind, stoned and asleep

Try to search for "touchfree". It says it's for the touch but don't be discouraged. I bought a 1.1.1 iphone on Monday, ran this program on it, and it worked like a charm. I do have AT&T though so I did not have to unlock from a carrier.
