Help I canīt restore my iphone Error (6)

I,m trying to restore my iphone and always get the same error "iPhone could not be restored, an unknown error occurred (6)". Please can you help me. is my iphone dead?

Well i,ve already restore my iphone. I think that the restore error with code 6 is a error in usb connections or usb ports.I did two things
1- remove all the devices connect to usb ports
2- use original cable usb. I was using a non original cable.

and now it works.

What Os And What Version Of Itunes Do U Have

I,ve win xp and itunes 7.4.1. But there isn,t a software problem. I installed a new windows copy and i test versions 7.3.2 and 7.4.1 of itunes and don,t work. for me , the problem was in usb devices-ports or cable non original.

i only have 2 usb ports on my computer and im using the original cable that came in the box

I'm getting this exact problem! i get halfway through the restore process and it fails and i get error message 6! its so frustrating. would it work better if i used it with my imac instead of my macbook?

i think it would because i just took my phone up tp the apple store and all they did was restore it wit a mac computer so u could try that. mines work now

I Am Getting The Same Erro I Even Try Doing It On My Labtop And I Still Get Ther Stupid Erro I Have Try Everything And Notthing It Only Let Restore To 1.1.1 But I Cant Go Back To 1.0.2. I Hate This. I Try To Jailbreak 3 Time But Itune And Ipod Crash On Me Every Time So I Downgrade Every Time To See If Am Doing Something Wrong But Now I Can’t Go Back To 1.0.2. Is There A Limit Of How Many Time You Can Downgrade Because This Suck ***.
