I hate to bring this thread up, but how do you get rid of notification_pro?

Use teh kill function in SysInfo, then respring.
Other processes that kill battery life are
Mobilephonemail
Mobilesafari
MobileMusicplayer
Tris
iSolitaire
any game or app that somehow stays running in the background. I made a habit of checking sysinfo after using those types of apps and killing the processes. Battery life back to very long.
