Hi, I know I do have a bricked iPhone (bought it used). But I thought only the phone portion and wifi don't work. But here are all the problems I have:
No wifi present
No Modem Firmware, IMEI, etc
Slow keyboard typing sometimes
No sound through external speakers
Music slider does not move without earphones
iPod function sometimes needs to be restarted with earphones plugged in to start to have sound (can't unplug and replug)
I just wanted to know if all these are normal (especially the speakers, or if I have broken speakers? The back plate is a little messed up; I think the previous owner tried to pry it open).
Thanks for any info! I tried googling but I couldn't find any complete list of symptoms.
And thanks ReVan for the 1.1.1 guide; I successfully unlocked my friend's Out of the Box 1.1.1!

No Phone, WiFi, etc is the sign of an unactivated phone.
When you say no IMEI, Firmware, blah blah blah, do you mean you go into settings and it's all blank?
The thing with the speakers is a known issue. It can usually be fixed by plugging the earbuds in, playing some music and unplugging the earbuds. This tells the iPhone to start outputing the audio through the speakers again. People have had different methods of getting this to work. Mine was what I just wrote.
