Camera doesn't save my photos anymore
So today i tried to take a picture with my phone. All went well until I opened up my photos and saw 3 white squares.. I clicked on the square and it just exit out of the photos and back to the springboard..
I tried restarting the phone and restarting springboard, but nothing. When taking the pictures it shows the preview and saves to the photo album, but whenever i go to the album all there is a white square. What's going on?

Don't take the time for restore and reinstall everything back. you should try delete /private/var/root/Media/DCIM out of your iPhone by tool you want (such as iPhoneBrowser, iPhone PC Suite or SFTP/SSH program). Then restart iphone and try take picture.

To follow up on blue_wind's solution.... I didn't find a DCIM folder in the /private/var/root/Media/ folder... so I did this, thanks to zenx
1. Download & install iPhone PC Suite. (or other iPhone file browsing software)
2. Open up the File folder DCIM/.MISC/Info.plist (which is a text file)
3. In that file, reset the <key> to 100 (delete the other <keys>) and reset <integer> to 0 and save the file, ie:
<plist version="1.0">
<dict>
<key>LastFileGroupNumber-100</key>
<integer>0</integer>
</dict>
</plist>
4. Delete the additional folders (leaving only .MISC and 100APPLE in DCIM)
I AM ASSUMING that <key> maps to your folders in the DCIM and <integer> is your photo count, hence since it's now empty, you have to reset it to zero.
Also, I didn't do any full resets/restore, syncing, etc. My iPhone version is 1.1.3 and and working from Windows XP. Hope this helps.
