Grey Wifi

I have an error on my Wifi that says No wifi. I tried using this guide:

I followed the guide to the end and the Terminal Said it was done. I restarted and still wifi was grey. I tried reseting the network settings and wifi is still grey. I dont know what to do... i called apple and they said they will ship me a box to send it back to them, but i really dont want to do that because my Phone is unlocked and i could restore, but still...

So can someone please help me! im really lost and need Wifi

And also the problem started yesterday when i restored with iPlus, and went to sleep. woke up and the wifi was grey and said no Wifi. I had The BossPrefs installed i think thats what might have caused it...

That is what i used from the website it was called swifi. It didnt work...

I also just noticed that i cannot recive calls when the phone is in sleep mode! Please i really need help! someone please!!!!

I assume you've tried to restore to 1.1.4 already....

I concur. I have tried iLiberty+ Pwnage tool and I cannot figure out how to properly package and install the swifi tool and get it running with either of those applications. Having no bluetoth, wifi, and a really depleted battery life is extremely frustrating. Can anyone help!!

I recently purchased an IPHONE with 1.1.4 on it.

Used ZiPhone 3.0 to unlock it....

I noticed that my Wifi stopped working as well as no ring on incoming calls when sleep.

I did everything mentioned above including erasing baseband, restore, bla bla bla

Nothing worked.

But I noticed that if I turned the phone off and waited for 5 - 10 minutes and than powered it back on the wifi would come up. Also no longer have the no ringing on sleep issue.

If I power the phone off and back on again..same problem...

Power it off, wait 5-10min, problem cleared.

Not sure if there is something resident in memory that doesnt clear up for a few minutes or heat that is causing the issue.

Folks, please try this and post your results.
