Thread: symbol beside battery indicator

    Default symbol beside battery indicator
I have a 1.02 phone unlocked to rogers and there is a symbol beside the battery indicator. It looks like a semi circle (like a mad mouth) with dots underneath. (top row has 4 dots and the bottom row has 3 dots) My phone and all the features work fine but I was just wondering what the symbol is.
    thanks in advance,
    cp

It means you have TTY mode enabled. Go into Settings -> Phone to turn it off. It's only for the deaf.

EDIT: By the way, that symbol is a telephone receiver over a keyboard.
