Touch Screen Issues

Whats up guys/gals.

I recent stumbled upon a problem with my iPhone. When in texting i looks like 90% of the top row of the keyboard is not functional. It doesnt look like anything else is not working. Web browser typing works horizontally but not vertically. Everything else seems to be functionally properly.

I completely restored the phone back to out of the box and jailbroke it to test. still nothing.

Is this a hardware or software issue? Its confusing me.

Had same issue, restored to 114 (was 102) and now its fine

weird. I just restored it to 1.1.4 and the problem is still there. the only thing I can think of is their is slight moisture in the phone from my long motorcycle ride yesterday.

Same problem here, except that the bottom row not working (space, ,.123, return). When I press the space button, it activate the leter above. I tried everything, without results. Any sugestion, except the Apple Store?
