One of my friends was asking me the other day if anyone thinks that the iphone could ever be hacked to work on sprint or verizon (pretty much any other non gsm network). I told him I would ask but I didnt think so. Does anyone know a DEFINITIVE answer to this?

No. The iPhone is built for GSM networks while both Sprint and Verizon are CDMA. I know Verizon will be GSM when they finish upgrading to their 4G Network.
