    Default How To Force Restore
OK 500+ views on my last question and no suggestions. Let me ask a more general question. If the New iPad setup wizard never manages to finish to restore my iPad, is there any way to force a restore? I open iTunes and it sees I have an iPad connected. When I go to the drop-down arrow under the word ipad it goes blank. Is there any third party restore utility? Is there a repair utility? When I boot the iPad the wizard automatically tries to complete as if I have a new iPad but then crashes at the springboard and starts over. Is it necessary to remove the jailbreak before running new iPad setup wizard will complete? If so, how would I do that if iTunes is not cooperating? I'm really stuck and really need help here. It's not just cosmetic. The whole device is useless unless I can repair the OS.

Never mind. "DFU" might have been a helpful suggestion.
