Imessage help needed

I've been trying to use imessage on my ipad 3 but i'm having trouble. When i type what i want to say the send button is greyed out so i can't send. If i click the camera icon and take a pic the send will become available and i can see what people are saying to me, any reason why this is happening as i also have imessage set on my iphone 4 and that is working fine.

Weird dude, I would recommend a restore from iTunes.

Has this all of a sudden starting happening? Maybe a tweak or something ya downloaded. Put ya phone in safemode and see of it works like that.

Its my ipad 3 that this happens on and not sure about it happening before as this is the first time i used it. Works on my iphone fine. Its strange as if i take a photo that will send but not text.

Sorted it by turning off show subject field. Don't know what or why that needs to be off but it was off on my iphone 4 aworking now.
