Default How to copy Contacts from iPhone 3gs to iPad 2 wifi.
iPhone and iPad are both jailbroken.

I have a Package Backup(PKGBackup) on my 3gs. I run it and I already sync it with iTunes.

iPad is also synced with iTunes.

How can I copy my Contacts in iPhone 3gs to iPad 2?

    Please help.

If you are using a Mac computer your contacts should be in your address book. For windows they should be in Outlook. If so then plug in your iPad open iTunes click on your iPad on the left hand side and then on the right at the top click on info and then make sure sync contacts is checked. And all contacts is selected as well..

Hi, if you haven't got Outlook, you can select Windows Address Book. Seeing as you have PkgBackup, do a backup to Dropbox deselecting everything except contacts, then using PkgBackup on your iPad, restore the saved contacts

If you are on a Windows PC, use Copytrans contacts to transfer your iphone contacts to your computer and then transfer the entries from your computer to your iPad.

    Why not use iCloud?

iCloud is the easiest, just from the sb go to settings/iCloud and then turn contacts on?

I have exactly the same question: trying to transfer contacts from 3GS to iPad 2. However, my iPhone is jailbroken while my iPad is not.

    A. Does the fact that one of my devices is jailbroken and the other is not affect iCloud's ability to transfer contacts?

    B. I want to transfer only some of my iPhone contacts to my iPad (around a third of the iPhone's contacts only). The other two thirds are old entries which I practically do not need on my iPad. Some of these unneeded contacts are already manually loaded on my iPad with the updated info, so I do not wish to touch/overwrite those. Question is: will the iCloud allow me to only transfer part of my iPhone contacts to my iPad without overwriting the contacts (with the same names) I already have manually created on my iPad?

Additional info: I have not set up iCloud on neither the iphone nor the iPad.

No. It will transfer/sync all contacts

Instead manually export to your PC only the iphone contacts you need:

Then, import the vcard contact files to your iphone using the same tool.

    I also agree with this.

I use iTools. You can back up your contacts, pics, apps etc just like iTunes only more simple. iTools supports both jailbroken and non-jailbroken devices.
