Should i buy " The new iPad " or wait for 2013??? Need Help.

thats how apple have us hooked... we buy one product, and then eagerly await the next and better one.... have spent sooo mch cash on apple.... its ridiculous, but i cant use any other phone now

Go for it! I had absolutely no urge to buy an iPad... and then they came out with the Retina Display for it. I had to run out and buy one. I don't regret it at all - it's incredible. It runs so smoothly, too.

Some people would say there's not much different, but in my mind it's a completely different machine than the iPad 2, thanks to the screen and double the RAM. Really, it's got a gig of RAM, which means I keep multiple games and programs paused in the background. It's so much RAM I haven't run into any slowdown issues. I don't even have to worry about managing the background apps - there's no need.

As a machine it's pretty amazing. However, I'm still looking for that one killer-app that turns my iPad into an indispensable lifestyle tool. I have lots of PDF's and GoodReader, but I haven't jumped into them yet (still finishing up some wood-pulp books I bought the day before I received my iPad, and I don't like to start new books until I finish the old ones). Text looks fantastically sharp on this display - I'm hoping that this will prove to be the ebook reader I've always wanted.

I'm sure they'll add even more RAM in the future. Apple's marketing is absolutely flawless.

The way to look at it is by asking yourself if the current model (3rd Gen) has what you need in it right now. It is always a mistake to purchase something because you heard that it will get an update that lets it do x, y and z. IMO, "The New iPad" has it all and is way more than capable of handling whatever current apps can throw at it. I would love to get one, but I have higher priorities financially right now. Also, remember that there is no jailbreak for it at the moment. If you cannot live without a jailbreak, then you would have to find an iPad2 that is already jailbroken or an iPad1 that is already jailbroken (or at least has SHSH blobs on file with Cydia).

TL;DR: Go for it, the iPad3 rawks fasho.

EDIT: Also, the next iPad (IMO) will likely be a bit of a refresh rather than a rewrite. They just added LTE, Retina and 1GB RAM. What will they do next year? Likely a slight bump, think "The New iPad [s]". Take from this what you will, let us know which option you, um, opt for

LOL Since you have already got an iPad anyway~
I would suggest you go and take the iPad 3! My bro really like the the retina display and better camera! And I even envy him though I have an iPad 2!
But after reading ipad 3 vs ipad 2, I keep my iPad 2 and wait for the next one!
