Default Q. about AT&T vs. Verizon model for best international use
AT&T uses GSM (Edge and 3G, don't know about LTE); Verizon uses CDMA. Which would be best, if either, for international use (mainly Mexico and Europe)? Most countries use GSM; would a Verizon iPad then even work in those countries with a country-local SIM card?

The new iPad will work worldwide regardless if It's an At&t or Verizon Model.

I personally would go with the Verizon model because they have more 4G LTE coverage then At&T and If I travel anywhere in the world I can just use a Pre-Paid sim from another carrier.

OK, but what about the GSM vs. CDMA issue...if it is an issue at all. I've never owned a CDMA device (have an AT&T locked iPhone 4) so just don't know how a CDMA device works in GSM countries.
