iPad 2 nintendo ds emulators?

Just wondering if there are any projects, complete or incomplete for bringing this to iOS. I am assuming as long as I have a nintendo ds and all the games i download that it's legal?

I'm not sure about the emulator itself but, as far as I know you don't even have to have a DS, just have to own the game for any ROMS you download. I wouldn't swear to that but I believe it's right.

Ahahah well I guess if it is that way, it'd be useful, you'd only have to buy the games, not the console.
I myself already have the console and games so it doesn't really matter to me ahahh
