I've just got a new iPad and Spirited it and started installing all of the good stuff :-). I have a TMOUS phone since AT&T did not work well for me in my area when I had an iphone.
Anyway, I thought that it would be just that simple to connect my phone and the iPad over bluetooth and share my internet connection. It looks like that's not the case and I can't even see my phone or computer on the iPad. My phone can see the ipad and it appears to pair but the iPad shows my phone in the list of devices then but is not connected.
Is this Apples way of keeping me with the "program" or am I missing something. I know I can always add pdanet or mywi but I was hoping that this would be easier than with my iphone.
Any advice? Cheers.

Go download MyWi from Cydia or Rock on to your iPhone ($9.99) and it turns your iphone into a wireless hotspot. Then you will be able to connect your iPad using wireless to the iphone.

iPhone has gone now. I'm on TMOUS with a WM6.5 phone.
