I bought an iPad used form some guy and it was perfectly mint no probs at all. The only things thats annoying is that he had purchased pages and numbers through the app store. The update for both pages and numbers came out and it wont let me update because they were purchased on somebody else's itunes account. This is MY ipad now and all of the apps on it are too! lol Can anyone help?

Delete the apps and buy them yourself?

All of the Apps on it are not yours. You did not purchase the license to the Apps...you purchased the hardware to buy the licenses to run the apps.

CC is correct. Just because you bought the iPad does not make the apps on it yours. You did not purchase them so they do not belong to you. If he sold them to you as an extra price then he did so illegaly. Apples states that purchases cannot be transfered.

I bought a used 64gb 3G iPad from a guy in California ,right before I gave him my money I ask him to reset the iPad and erase all contents just to make sure I won't be blamed for any stolen information,or at least it gave the seller peace in mind that he didn't leave any info on the iPad . Just delete those apps and start fresh with your own collection of apps unless the previous owner insisted that you can have or share his purchased apps , but that's a different Story and I don't know how that works in a legal sense

Even so you will never be able to buy or put apps on the iPad because you will be on his account.

You really need to create your own account. No offense, but I would not give my iTunes password to anyone. Neither should you!
